Manual test

The manual test consists in the execution of an analysis aimed at the URLs stored into the  “Website Tree” control. This analysis can be performed by choosing, on the list, the specific type of attack. Please follow the procedure below to initiate a manual test in the application.

 

Using the “Website Tree” control, right click on the listed resource (web pages and transactions)  in the "Manual Test" and then select the type of test you wish to perform on the resource – this will start execution of test with the selected mode.

After starting the test, the "Module Execution" guide is displayed on the footer of the scanning interface. It is a list of  all log events based on the mode and is generated by the N-Stalker Scanner engine.

The "Scanner Events" tree offers a summary of all relevant information located during the N-Stalker assessment session. This includes the objects and vulnerabilities related to the Web Application resources.

 

10. To open the "Vulnerability Details" panel please click on an specific vulnerability.
