Discovery Type: IP Range

Top  Previous  Next

Under IP Range's Discovery Type, you will be required to enter an IP address followed by a range:

discover-5

The following options must be completed:

IP Range

Enter the four (4) IP octets (e.g: 127, 0, 0, 1) and a range (e.g: 100) that indicates the path Web Discovery will follow (e.g: 127.0.0.1-100).

Port Range

This is the TCP port range that N-Stalker must probe. You may use "-" (dash) to indicate a range (e.g: 8000-8080 which means from 8000 to 8080) or "," (comma) to indicate individual items (e.g: 80, 443 which means 80 and 443).

Use also SSL

This will tell N-Stalker to attempt both HTTP and HTTP/S (SSL) protocol (against all port ranges).

Once done, click on "Start Test" to initiate session.
