Technical Requirements

• Minimum requirements

  To run N-Stalker Web Application Security Scanner 2006 appropriately, there are minimum requirements to be met, such as:

  • 64MB RAM (available to N-Stalker);
  • At least 50MB Hard Disk free space (caching purposes);
  • Win32 Platform (Win9x, ME, NT, 2000, XP or 2003).

  Internet connection is recommended, however, it is not required for any assessment test. No 3rd party database or software is required for adequate operation.

• Recommended requirements

  For maximum performance and to obtain the best available results, we recommend the following hardware configuration:

  • 128MB RAM (available to N-Stalker);
  • 500MB HD free disk space (for results and caching)
  • Latest Win32 Platform (Win2000, XP or 2003)
  • Internet connection (transparent or proxy-based) – to obtain the latest updates
